my pc doesn't detect my xbox how can i make it so it does
This worked for me
1. Go to Network and sharing center. Find the network you are using and check to see if it is a 'public' or 'private' network. If public, set it to be private by clicking the customize link next to the network name. In Public, a lot of the discovery functions are disabled to allow incoming discovery, but not letting other devices connect. (such as a 360)
If that works, great. stop there.
2. Also in Network and sharing center, set yourself up like the following.
Network Discovery - on
Password Protected Sharing - off
Media Sharing - on
If you cannot get the media sharing to stay on, look carefully at step one. It will not enable media sharing easily on a public connection.
Hope that works for you. Best of luck.
Also Have you ever installed any streaming software on your computer? (such as Tversity) If so, that will do it. That can mess it up.
follow that tut if you are looking to stream things like music..
no i got it the problem was my ethernet driver
