Alright well I'm posting for Venomous Fire and this is the gist of what's wrong.

Firefox wont load ANY pages *it just sits on *stopped* in the right corner no matter what. IE works but it wont let him log in here. He needs firefox working again.
So please help figure out what's wrong

Finally got IE to let me log in, re-installing fixes it for about a day.... then it goes right back to messing up

UPDATE: just tried firefox again, and it is working perfectly, although slow.... but still, any solutions that are permanent are more than welcome

Well right now its working at 100%

Dunno if this ha anything to do with it, but when I restarted firefox, but not my computer I had to go into processes and manually shut own firefox.exe, because it wouldnt let me open another window without doing so

that happens to me sometimes but it never results in what happened to you, it might be the result of a bad add-on. A friend of mine has a add-on that refreshed constantly, but then he did something to it and it causes his FF to crash every time he tries to open it.

i would try uninstalling, then repairing vista with the vista disk. (if vista has that option like xp does) then installing ff again. might work :S
