Hey guys,

So you may have seen me around here before, I'm pretty good with xbox and things like that but I understand minimal about PC hardware. I have decided to build a gaming PC (not just gaming).

I want this PC to be able to play high end games no problem (possibly 4k) and obviously multi-task and things as well.

Here is what I have so far, what do you guys think? Please note it has to be an AMD GPU to utilise freesync on my monitor.

Motherboard: MSI Z170A GAMING M7
CPU: INTEL CORE i7 6700K
CPU Cooler: CORSAIR H110 High-Performance CPU Cooler
RAM: KINGSTON HX430C15PB2K4/16 HYPER X PREDATOR QUAD PACK 16GB (4x4GB DDR4) 3000mhz
GPU: SAPPHIRE R9 FURY X 4GB

Storage: SAMSUNG MZ-M5E120BW 120GB mSATA 850 EVO Read 540Mbs Write 520Mbs
or SAMSUNG 128GB SSD 850 PRO Series MZ-7KE128BW Read 550MB/s 2.5inch SATA3 6Gbs 100,000 IOPS

Western Digital 4TB WD4003FZEX 7200rpm SATA3 FZEX 64meg Cache CAVIAR BLACK

Haven't chosen a case, dvd drive or PSU. What do you think of the rest of my build so far? (Haven't bought any parts yet)

That motherboard and cpu are not compatible. To use a i7 6700k you need a z170 board.

What is your exact budget?

Unless there is a specific reason you want watercooling, a Noctua NH-D15 will give you better temps and quieter fans.

For PSU, here is a really solid choice: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151088
For case, it is really up to you. I recommend just going on NewEgg and seeing which case looks the best in your opinion.
For the DVD drive, you really don't need one. I haven't used a DVD drive in years. If for some reason you do need one, any $20 drive will do.

Ok, will have a look at that fan and PSU What do you think about the rest of the build? I want it to be fairly high end to play debug builds of games and multi task.

Looks like a kickass build. The only thing is that it would probably make more sense to go for the 5820k on X99, which will give you 6/12 cores/threads for around the same price as a 6700k.

Plus the 6700k doesn't work on x99.

6700K is my daddy. Crimson just released so going with a AMD gpu is a no brainer.
