Unsolved Help :'( Game crash?

I was playing minecraft and my laptop randomly shut off by it's self and now when i try to load up my save it says "saving chunks" than there is a black screen. What do i do?!?! I worked hard on my current world and don't wanna lose it.

im not sure what you could do. try make a copy of your world and play it. if that does not work either, try delete level.dat (think you will lose your items in your inv)

See if you can access it in McEdit and resave it as a different name. Minecraft is meant to have anti-corruption protection, but I only think that's for if Minecraft crashes, not if your laptop runs out of power.
