Only way to get past is a proxy, but most would limit your speeds so that it would be too slow for LIVE.

Ya you would have to get a network adapter capable of using a proxy on its own. Im not sure about VPN

so using this VPN i'll be able to bypass the block on xbox live by sharing the internet? do you use it to get around a web block? because doesn't a VPN hide your IP address and then the xbox wont be able to pick up?
If you use a VPN such as SwitchVPN, you can access any website and if you hook your xbox up to your computer via Ethernet cable, you can connect to Xbox Live as well.

It's what I use for Xbox Live. If you're having issues I can always help. It works really good considering it's tunneling your connection.

You could just bridge a connection from your laptop to your Xbox, I don't know how great the speeds would be though.

Well this makes me happy that even though I have to work and live on my own in an apartment while im at college I dont have to worry about issues like this. I basically plugged in and played on live with my stuff =). Good luck getting everything to work
