Basics:
- Trying to J-Tag with JR Programmer and J-Runner
- Xenon Motherboard @ 7371 Dash
- Able to dump 2 identical NANDs! (***Can we eliminate soldering issues due to identical nand reads???***)
- Made a backup outside of source folder
- Added Dash 7371 and selected J-tag radio button (J-Runner)

Issue:
- ABLE to "Create Xell-Reloaded" with "Xell File Created Successfully xenon.bin" log
--> Sometimes displays "Too many redirections attempted"....something like that...sometimes

- UNABLE to successfully "Write Xell Reloaded"
--> display shows a few irregularities randomly:
1)
Version: 00
Flash Config: 0x00000000
Wrong Version

2)
Version: 10
Flash Config: 0x00000010
Wrong Version

^^^ Good troubleshooting Husker,

I have however tried this multiple times but will try again in a few.
The ulitmate guide stated (Step 2a) you should write xell reloaded to nand before the use of the the soldered diodes. (J1F1 and J2D2)
Can anyone confirm you ABSOLUTLY NEED the jtag solder points or not.
Shouldnt I be able to write to the nand regardless, since i can read from it?

Yea, you can read and write with the diodes in place. look over the soldering again and post some pictures. A solder ball may have bridged a couple points after you read the nand.

Ugh you have one of those really bizarre problems. If I remember right I did have a console where I could read the NAND fine but not write to it and it ended up being a small soldering issue. Also like Husker said its possible something came loose or bridged after you moved it around somewhat.

Definitely make sure your J-R Programmer is flashed with the latest firmware and that you are using the latest J-Runner, always a good step to eliminate variables. Have you tried grabbing a different set of Xell bins and flashing them manually with Nandpro?

You could also see if you can read successfully again to make sure that is still the case. Wrong version is very often a soldering problem.

Have you checked to make sure your CB is correct and actually able to jtag this machine?

dash 7371 is an "iffy" dashboard for that hack.

Good News Boys!!
Went over all of my solder joints and have made progress.

ABLE: to boot to Xell and get CPU key.

NOT ABLE: to create XeBuild image.
--> Ini's are missing

Why do i get this error? (cant post pic for some reason)

im glad you asked...wish i could post pictures...too dumb lol

In the XeBuild tab at the top right there is Dash Version, Motherboard, and greyed out raido buttons.
I added the 7371 dash because that is currently the dash that is running on my MB.

I suppose im confused on that part:
--> Do i add the same XeBuild dash version as i found on the motherboard?
--> The 7371 dash file in my jrunner folder doesnt contain a .ini
--> If i add the newer dash to the XeBuild, will that update my MB so i cannot exploit?

You want to use the latest dash. As long as you build in xebuild, and only writevthst updated dash, you won't lose the exploit.

Thats great it worked. I actually figured that the dash version i was flashing to was too old...only after you asked.

Xenon is officially Jtagged.

Overheats like a MF! 12v fan mod helped stabilize it.

THANK YOU FOR THE HELP....just need iso's now for mad gamin!
