so recently i have been trying to bridge with my laptop. i have 2 problems.
1. i can connect for a short time (aprox. 5 minutes) then i get disconnected
2. even if the connections are bridged and i can still connect to live the xbox and the laptop have different ip adresses therefore the zonealrm on my laptop doesnt affect the xbox.

i have followed many of the tutorials but in the end connection doesnt happen.

this is what i do when i try to bridge.

setup: wireless internet>>laptop>>ethernet cord from laptop to xbox
i bridge the connections and i test it. it fails on network and sometimes internet.

please somebody help or explain what i need to do in order for bridging to work

Im assuming you have a router and modem.. If you do you should have an ethernet cable going from the router to your laptop and another one from your xbox to the router. and make sure you have your wireless internet swith on ur laptop turned off that way both connections are running through the router.
