Solved HD Lag playing OFF HD ...?

Hey guys, I want to start using my capture card (Dazzle DVC-100) again, but I have to switch my xbox from HDTV to TV (the thing on the back of the xbox) in order for it to work. So... my problem is, I feel like I have HD lag but I'm not on HD. But when I play on HD, I feel like I don't have any lag at all. It's just not making any sense to me. Does/did anyone else ever have a problem like this?

Well its cause you're on an HDTV and it still has to process it to non HD or 480i. Therefore the processing takes longer then putting the full 1080p on your TV. Some TVs don't some do take a while to process SD content.
