Discussion HD Capture card Question

Im looking into buying a Capture card and Im not sure what capture card to get.
I would do my captureing on a Mac so this looks good:
Eye Tv
But everyone likes the hauppauge HDPVR:
Hd PVR

THey seem like the same quality but are they?

I would defiantly go with the HD PVR. Its got great quality, and is very good to use.

Isn't eye tv the software you use to capute video from the hd pvr? So you would need both.

I like black magic intensity pro(records hdmi) only if you have a desktop other wise go to hd pvr

You should read the post, he's using a Mac..not a PC.

Sorry, I believe the HD PVR isn't compatible with a Mac.
