I heard rumours that the guy responsible for installous has completely deleted the source code to get free apps.

I have also tried downloading installous on my new iphone. installous 2.5 i believe.

Tried to download some apps only to get some sort of error message such as

"invalid IPA KEY " or crap like that....

soooooo what do i do now?????

Yes it's true puy0 quit he is no longer developing future installous program however don't think the ones that have been already released are affected

Try to enter the fallowing into mobile terminal. (pressing return after each line and replacing file name with the actual file name)
    su
    alpine
    dpkg var/mobile/downloads/filename.ipa -I

he had installous 3.0 in beta, but it's VERY beta.

2.5 works fine, user apptrackr.org for apps now, someone else has taken over the appulo.us stuff, and now it's called apptrackr.

    apptracker.org is the website.

The installous app now takes you to a different source ebing app trackr, which imo is faster and easier to navigate
