Twister (shock + another) and Sawbar (fire + another) both can have dual elements. And both are dlc, Hammerlock and Ultimate Vault Hunter pack respectively. I think I have heard someone say before the storm (pearl sniper) can too but I haven't really tried (or don't remember).

Also I believe the Kerblaster and Hammerbuster both give bonus damage also.

All moxxi weapons heal...Rubi, Heart Breaker, Creamer, Good Touch, Bad Touch. (fairly positive on this)

Nice thread btw...I was thinking at one time about doing something like this.

You can add the barrel to a weapon and it will not change the actual bullet element but, it can give it the shock DoT effect that the Storm has.

parabrahma parabrahma the Rapier barrel actually seems to give a higher buff to Melee than the accessory. The barrel stacks +200% Melee damage per barrel. It's weird though because if you fill up a bunch of extra slots with the barrel and have no Bayonet accessory, the gun card will not display a bonus melee damage number. Just replace one of the barrels with the accessory and it will show up. I haven't tested any with just barrels to see if you actually get the bonus or not.

If you put the sawbar barrel into the barrel slot and then set an element for it in the element slot it will do whatever element you set it to and it will do fire (from the sawbar barrel)* the same with the twister. :wink: I've made a video on it I think in the old hybrid weapons thread.
Here's the vid...skipped to 5:13 for the dual element sawbars.

*Edit...it does both for bullet damage AND DoT btw or at least as far as I could tell.

Yes, from what I understand, the gun card doesn't always display all of the guns effects, especially when there are multiple barrels. Generally though barrels do have a greater impact than accessories. So it would not surprise me if the rapier barrel adds more to melee than the accessory. The real test is always trial and observation in game. I also haven't tested all of the above listed barrels and parts personally so I am definitely expecting to make adjustments both in terms of additions and subtractions. Thanks.

And are you sure about the Sawbar? In the video it looked like it was just Fire DoT damage. Was that maybe caused by Electrical Burn from your skills? I use a Sawbar with the element removed on my Explosive Krieg build and it doesn't do any fire damage....

Nah.. when you fire it without the element, it doesn't even look like fire. It looks like a Torgue weapon... :smile:

No, I missed it. Thanks. There are a few DLC weapons that need to be added here and there. The hydra looks like it would need to be added to the categories of Damage and Multipliers

And are you sure about the Sawbar? In the video it looked like it was just Fire DoT damage. Was that maybe caused by Electrical Burn from your skills? I use a Sawbar with the element removed on my Explosive Krieg build and it doesn't do any fire damage....
Positive. Its pretty clear to me in the vid that when I'm shooting him red numbered damage is coming up as well as the colored numbers for the elements. Electrical burn is DoT only.

Ah don't bother. I just double checked myself. Either it was patched? or I'm just full of sh*t. The other possibility is there is another gun somewhere in bank that has it and that was just the wrong one and I don't really have the time to look through it really good right. Anyways I usually test all my modded weapons with the commando (no skill point or gear) and that vid was a special case because after I tested them I dropped them to load some more modded stuff onto that character but never did so I shot it with the mechro because that was the other character I had in the game when I dropped them. Anyways, sorry for the confusion on that. I was wrong I guess.

LOL... Actually I was just going to post that it worked. You get the Explosive/Fire damage from the gun if it actually does the explosions. If you just fire it right into the target dummy you get standard non-elemental damage.

Ah. Well good...it works somewhat. I was only half-wrong then. :wink: I tried it with the shock one I wasn't seeing any fire. So IDK. I was pretty confident that it did work at one time though so who-knows. :tongue:
