As, you may know the free upgrade to Win10 is over, well not quite. Even though the "public" upgrade is over, people who use assistive technology (accessibility apps), can still get a free upgrade. Here's the link for that.
Yes, technically you're pretending to be handicapped. However, the on-screen keyboard is considered an accessibility tool, so opening it should technically qualify you for the upgrade.
