hello there i have been trying to sli 2 cards witch are the following:
Gtx 670 2gb zotac
Gtx 670 4gb asus

i have plugged both cards into the computer (in the correct ports)
i have added an sli bridge. (evan thought it was faulty so changed it)

went to geforce control panel, sli configuration option is not there.

someone told me its because geforce stopped support for sli with different sized vrams.

was wondering if this is infact the issue or wether i was doing something wrong.

have tried coolbits patch and it never worked.

full specs are
CPU:Amd 8350
RAM:16gb corsair 1600mhz
PSU:Corsair RM850
MOBO:Gigabyte GA-990fxa-ud3
GPU:Gtx 670 4gb asus (looking to SLI)
OS:Windows 10 64Bit

Driver version:
355.82

EDIT:both cards show up in driver manager: i.imgur.com/7Cyk7OV.png

i have taken the cards out and put them in one by one, and updated the drivers to the latest version.

my windows is indeed upto date.
my geforce and my GPU drivers are upto date.

here is my geforce specs it shows both cards here too: i.imgur.com/0GJdfkA.png

i have looked on GPUZ and the only difference that might make an issue in my opinion is the bios versions are different.

here is the asus card 4gb:

here is the Zotac card 2gb:

EDIT:here is a picture of nvidia control panel showing sli configuration not showing:

Officially Nvidia doesn't support SLI for cards with different size VRAM.

As Selena Gomez Selena Gomez has stated you cannot mismatch vram sizes on SLI, only CF.

There is an unofficial hack to make SLI work on similar cards

Enable Windows test mode by pasting this in an admin command prompt.
Code:
bcdedit /set testsigning on

Then download the app below or read more about the app from this thread here

No idea if it works on different ram sizes though or if it still even works anymore but no harm is tying out (Make a system restore point first just incase something stupid ****s up the drivers)

If that does not work
You may be able to swap / mod bios to show 2gb on both and get it to work however you will lose the ram until you swap back. Nvidia cards don't have dual bios switches do they? Never really bothered to find out.

You may be able to sell it on Ebay before people realize how weak older nvidia cards age.

they are on ebay  both of them, not sure how much 670's are worth so i put the 4gb up for £150 and the 2gb up for £120

Doubt you will get that much but lemme make a suggestion first instead of ebay try to RMA the EVGA one they may give you like a 770/970 since they have no older cards in stock.

they wouldn't let me do it if it has no warranty would they?

EVGA is really good on Warranty's almost as good as XFX (AMD only)

Tell them its artifacting and crashing in 2 separate PC's and constantly overheating.

Wow I just realized you said Asus and Zotac some reason I was thinking you said Zotac & EVGA. Try both anyways but Asus & Zotac are not always as good on RMA's.
