Ok friends, after toying with a few ideas on ways to allow general modding discussions within the section, I have come up with the idea of creating this thread and its sister thread, Modding Discussion- Console.

These threads are to be used for general discussion of methods tools or general modding news for each platform. There will be some rules within these threads and they will be listed below.

  • No advertising.
  • No flaming.
  • No sharing cracked or leaked files.
  • No file sharing without virus scans.
  • No links to YouTube videos or channels without a description as to why you are doing so.
  • No fan-boys. We don't need you advertising paid menus etc for the creators.
  • These rules are in place on top of the section rules found here.
These threads are not for modding support, for modding support please go here. These threads are not to be used to beg for modders to help you or to request invites or services.

So there we go, have at it. Members noting other members breaching these rules should report the posts and state why, they can aslo contact Gandalf61, Gardzz, Swiftyste, Reynolds or myself directly.

Hahaha it will probably get nowhere near to that kind of level of views but as long as they are made use of and the community wants them, they're here to stay
Well the fact that you made it pinned should make it easier to get there.

Okay I guess I'll start on a topic...So what's next for the mod menu community? It seems like there are infinite menus out there with the same features. What type of features do you think need to be added in current menus? I know it'll be hard since menus are being detected now.

External mods/ hack that not requiring the using of script hook. I think that the Force team are close to cracking of the problem.

What makes you think this? I'm asking honestly, just curious if it's a rumor or if there's evidence. I'm pretty bummed that it seems like GTA Online modding is dead and I'm hoping this is more than a rumor. I've been playing FiveM exclusively because GTA Online is just too damn boring without mods.

I agree with him because I saw in the force 5.0 video, they were using force online so they have found something to go online with.

Red got banned from what he was using in that vid, he has to work on a new way to use the menu w/o script hook.

It sure is sad to see rockstar hitting PC modding so hard. I don't play on PC personally, yet but nonetheless, I had expected it to be much more mod friendly.

That's why we are going to create server clients such as GTA SAN Andreas. Rockstar is going to have to allow modding on Private lobbies...such as cars and all that.

Private lobbies are a(n essential) move forward that I've been looking forward to all along. As soon as fully customisable lobbies are a thing, I'll meet you over there on PC

What do you play on now? And why play on anything other than PC when you have these mods?

Hahaha I have ps4 right now. Used to tinker in PS3 modding and stuff but mainly now I play PS4 with the missus just, the PC goes to waste! Lol

Some of the mods are unreal. I played IV a lot on PC and had all sorts of mods going but I'm a big fan of graphics and vehicle mods for sure.

I hope to see a return of modding on PC. I agree, private lobbies (that are dedicated, not the one rockstar already has.) and mod only lobbies are where this game needs to be going.
