Hey Guys! Alright so I primarily use Google Chrome as my browser. I'm using a Macbook Pro. It may be the program, it may be the computer, it is not my Internet. I've reset my Internet and isn't fixing the Chrome issue. I have 20 Mbps. Also I must add that all devices on my Internet are working 100% correctly. So I have no idea. I wish to wipe my hard drive and factory reset it or what ever. I know that over time PC's and Mac's get slower from the junk files, etc, etc. I use CCleaner and all those services. I just have no idea. If someone would be a great person and possibly walk me through how to Factory Reset, it would be greatly appreciated, as well as all suggestions and such are. Have a great day everyone.

First, don't use Chrome. That's a huge issue right there. I'd rather see someone use Safari than Chrome, but I'd recommend firefox.
Second, it's better to just clean out your computer than to reset it, but you can easily do it. Just google or youtube a video.
Third, this sounds more like a router issue.

May I ask a few questions. First, what is the big issue of using Chrome? I always hear yeah use Chrome it's the fastest blah blah blah. So what's with that? Second, what would I search for? How to fully clean Macbook pro? Third, in what way would any of this be a router issue? I just go brand new Internet, new router, wired connection, etc. Don't know how it would be affecting anything. By the way, thanks for the advice I'll try Firefox. Oh yeah, also, when I use CCleaner to clean cache and junk files, etc., it takes soooooo long. Any reasons why? It just started happening. It takes 15-20 for a clean and used to take 30 seconds to a minute.

It is the fatest (for a majority of people), but some believe that Chrome alone is vulnerable to being maliciously exploited. Just putting it out there that all browsers are equally exploitable.

Sorry that I can't help with your issue. I'd recommend trying to find someone on site that has the same computer that you do.

And how would I do that? Any advice where to find someone who has the same computer? Help desk? Mac section?

Honestly I don't own a Mac so I can't tell you much about that.
Chrome uses more resources (HDD, RAM, CPU) and isn't any faster. It's also ran by Google (duh) and they monitor EVERYTHING you do. It also has many more exploits, memory holes, etc. It's just not worth using, people only recommend it because they don't know any better.

See above. Firefox is non-profit and cares about security, whereas Chrome gives no f**ks and will sell your information in a second.

Just google or youtube "how to clean out a Mac"

Sounds like a similar problem I had initially with my Mac. Do you get the same results in Safari? I use that and it's fast enough for me. If you do get the same results, then it is likely something with your router configuration. A good thing to check is what channel your router is broadcasting it's signal on. I had to change that because I was on a crowded channel and once I changed that, I've never had a slow down since.

I'm not quite sure what the question is? Is it that Google Chrome is slow? Is it that you're not getting 20mbps download speeds?

My Safari and Firefox are working fast. Chrome is being a little ****. I guess it's just overloaded with junk files and such.

Don't listen to any of these people that say Google Chrome is crap. As long as you throw on the adblocker extension and possibly a few more it is the best browser out there. Sorry that I got a little off topic there but if I was there I could walk you through the process of a factory reset a lot better than I could through a forum. lol

Yeah. What else you got?
Adblock...... That's it.
I know I shouldn't be using Adblock but beside the matter that's all I have. Oh yes. Sorry I have an extension that blocks social media bulls*** from websites and stuff similar.
