Things you need: 2 dogs in Animals list of Director Mode
(only worked for me with 2 big dogs)
(Video below will have locations to find the dogs)
I have not tested this on any other consoles, I am playing on PS4.
Leave comments if this works on all consoles and PC and I will update thread.
Until further notice,the "invisible online character in story mode" will be my find and credit due: Games & Graphics (YouTube)
Steps:
1. Collect 2 dogs in story mode
2. Go to director mode
3. Short list you online character 1 & shortlist one dog
4. Go to shortlist and press down on d-pad and X at same time.
5. Online character goes in dm,exit back to trailer.
6. You should see the dog highlighted in shortlist, press X. (If online character is highlighted do step 4 again)
7. once dog enters dm,exit back to trailer
8. Press O to go back to Animals list and scroll through both dogs as they duplicate and keep going back and forth between dogs til they both stop duplicating.
9. Press O and go back to shortlist, wait a couple of seconds. Your online character will duplicate on his own. They will be a present character on the left and an invisible character on the right.
10. Press X to accept the invisible character. They will walk out of trailer but you won't see them.
11. Once in dm, open IM (interaction menu), settings, and turn on Invincibility,and apply settings by pressing square.
12. Next, have a recent activity ready to 'start gta online'. Double tap PS button to bring you back to game.
13. Once back in game, open IM (if not already open) scroll down to 'quit director mode' select 'quit director mode', accept 2nd alert and double tap PS button, select "start gta online' from recent activity and decline 2nd alert,and you will be back in story mode with online invisible character!!
You will have no weapons and no money. Explore to see what other potential this might have enjoy!!!!
