Patched glitching beer hat etc

The man who wrote this is my saviour. For PS3, this works wonders for me, so far, got the tshirt and 3 hats

Just follow the steps:
1.Turn on your PS3, go to game, go to story mode.
2.Press online->choose character->choose character A.
3.After you are online as character A, Press online->Swap character->choose character B.
4.Then character B will receive a random beer hat or the tshirt.

To repeat,
5.Leave online
6.Turn off your PS3 using PS button menu.
Repeat step 1.

Notice, turn off then turn on the PS3 is a must. You cannot just go to SP then MP, this will not give you anything.

What character do you have, that has unlocked the belle t shirt? character slot 1 or 2? If you've collected a special crate previously in your GTA Online career, then you would have unlocked the belle t shirt. So which character slot has that t shirt?

If the t-shirt is in character slot 1, then you will have to start the glitch with your 2nd character then swap over to your first character whilst doing this glitch or if it's in slot 2 then you will do it vice versa if that makes sense. So the character that has the t-shirt will unlock the hats for this glitch.

If you want the R* t-shirt: do you own the tommy gun from the Valentines day pack? if you do then all you need to do is go in a lobby and kill another player with it. You will have notification pop up, then just go to the clothing store > tops > specials

If you don't have the tommy gun, join the Independence day playlist and on a deathmatch gamemode, get a kill with the combat MG.

If I already get regular crate drops, do I still need to do Satellite Communications? I honestly have forgotten whether or not I've done it yet. I've been rushing to every Crate Drop happening though, and most of them have been red flares.

You should learn to read, you skipped 11 pages and the entire POINT of this thread.

If you tried the glitch and it worked for character 1, then continue doing the glitch for that character. You will eventually get all of them unlocked. It won't work for your 2nd character as it seems like it's locked to one specific character only, unless you get them legit.

i managed to get the ps3 method to work (the one that someone shared where u just have to swap char). have been trying to do it again with no luck. not sure what happened.. i exit online and press hold ps button to off the ps3. i think that once u load in story mode and get some of the notifications about newly received stuff it means that it worked. I'm wondering if deleting the patch will help with this

edit: have managed to repeat the glitch and gotten 3 hats so far. I'll just list down exactly what I do which is what was mentioned in a previous post by someone.

1. im wearing rockstar tshirt and valentine boxers(not sure if it matters, probably not)
2. press down and left to exit online
3. press and hold ps button and switch off system
4. turn on ps3, load game(automatic)
5. go to online, choose character, choose the one u DONT WANT the hat on
6. once that character loads, swap to the character u want the hat on
7. once that loads, check inventory to see what u got.
repeat for other hats

This is a %100 working xbox method with no extra steps added.Note: Before attempting this you need to have the Los Santos Belle Tshirt unlocked from picking up your first special crate.(Credits to some random in my game for helping me with this glitch)
1. Set character you want the hats on in your personal car anywhere on the map.
2.Switch to character 2 whilst in your personal vehicle.
3.Wait 5-10 seconds once your second character spawns in and then dashboard.
4.Delete the Independence Day DLC and start up the game.
5.You can EITHER hit A to go online while loading the game or you can wait till your in singleplayer and go the store and download the DLC from there. Either way works I tried both ways.
6.Once back online switch from character 2 to 1 and you should get a notification while in the clouds saying the items you unlocked.
7. Rinse and repeat until you get 4 hats and the shirt

I just edited my post dude you can see if it's any help. I just tried it again tho and no luck so I'll try it again.

edit: I've no idea if I have had a special crate drop before but since i have the rockstar tee i guess i have. my main is a guy my extra is a girl

I had 1 male character, 1 female character, both had hats on and I did method 1 for ps3.

I done the mission but normal crates just keep spawning every 20 minutes or so, this is taking foooooorever. Is there a way to spawn them quickly?

I edited my post but it's not showing up for me. Weird. I'm on ps3 and have gotten all 4 hats doing the method that was shared by one of the users.
my main is a guy my extra is a girl. i had my main wear a rockstar tee and valentine boxers tho i dont think it matters. my extra char was wearing what she always wears which is hoodie and jeans.

I had 1 male character, 1 female character, both had hats on and I did method 1 for ps3.

How did you do that ? I don't get it for my second cha. Please help
