Patched Give cars to friends after patch 1.23 (PS4 exclusive)

Give Cars to Friends. Gta Online PS4

Impounded vehicle not needed!

Discovered through trial and error with a friend using old methods that worked in previous builds of GTA Online.

Info:

1: The giver creates his own session alone and sends the receiver three invites to the session from the options menu. *This is an important step everyone missed on PS4*

2: The receiver should get three invitation in the PS4 notification menu. The receiver accepts one of the invitation in the PS4 menu and joins the givers session. There should be two invitation left for the glitch.


Detailed Instructions with pictures:

1. Impounding a vehicle is not necessary!

2. Giver, go into an invite only session alone and send the receiver 5 or more invites through the options menu. (You cannot be in the same session to receive the invite)

3. Receiver, accept one of the invites and join the session.

4.The Giver puts the car you want to duplicate into position then starts the mission Meth'd Up (Gerald)

5. The person receiving the car go into your garage and make sure you have a bike on the rack, stand by the bike rack so the menu appears in the top left corner to use the bike. (make sure you have NO cars in the impound)

7. Press the PS button and go to notifications, accept the invitation and wait a moment 1.5 seconds and then spam right on D-pad and X, (rotate from Right - X - Right - X - Right X) you should accept the invite and bike at the same time.

9. You should join the mission, once joined Leave the mission. You should nowbe glitching out teleporting all over the place. Keep running and tapping X and Triangle until you get in the car.

10. At this point the giver can now leave the mission and help move the cars into position by blocking the doors if it is a 4 seater, the whole point is to be able to teleport into the car without using the doors. If the Giver can teleport into the car the receiver can.

remember you have a time limit for the gta invite in the PS4 notifications. I think its like 15 minutes.

It's really annoying to do this glitch on unit 2 popular street and 3 Alta st. But I eventually duped a insurgent, karin karuma armoured and the lectro bike. I'm sorted for now lol

Why is unit 2 a difficult area to dup at? All my garages are at eclipse which gets a bit tedious when you're at the bottom of the map. I was thinking of getting a garage elsewhere but was holding off until the dup glitch is patched.

remember you have a time limit for the gta invite in the PS4 notifications. I think its like 15 minutes.

no time limit on notificatons on ps4 they become dead if the host leaves session

Why is unit 2 a difficult area to dup at? All my garages are at eclipse which gets a bit tedious when you're at the bottom of the map. I was thinking of getting a garage elsewhere but was holding off until the dup glitch is patched.

Maybe it's difficult because I don't know where to place the car exactly. And yesterday when I attempted the dupe, my schwartzer fully modded was destroyed and now it's on bike rack with no way of getting it back lol. I should've drove the duplicated vehicle into another garage.

But yeah hold onto eclipse until the glitch is patched. I've got unit 2 and murietta heights (right next to LS customs) and 3 alta st dept. don't think I'd ever change them lol.

You can order a bike over the destroyed car on your bike rack, but yeah make sure you don't push an uninsured car that got destroyed to the bike rack if you want to get it back.

If I buy a bmx bike over it will it replace it? So I'd lose it forever?

If it was destroyed and it came off the bike rack then it is gone for good. A destroyed vehicle on the bike rack can have a bmx bought over it.

It's like if you had a bmx destroyed then you couldn't get a replacement from mors.

I actually like having all my garages at one place. Then I only need to make one stop for any car that I want from my garages.

I was thinking of putting a good mix of cars in each garage such as a super car, sports, suv etc. I have 39 vehicles and I only ever drive a handful. If I split the garages then I'd more likely drive more variety. don't know if it would work in practice but don't mind spending a few dollars to find out.

Lolol that it does, I think people who find these out deserve the credit though. It ain't that hard to drop a mention!! Hell, even Jay dropped Nas's name in The Blueprint!!!!
