Patched Get rid of Special Vehicles/Replace Special Vehicles With Friends Special Vehicles

The tires are bulletproof on the wastelander lander. I just tested it.

I'm assuming the same for the boxville, interesting. Would like to know if anybody else runs into these vehicles with non bullet proof wheels

****Note**** This may bug out your MOC, got a friend who cannot put a vehicle in MOC now, trying to narrow down what caused it and how to fix it.

Do NOT use a stolen vehicle, only a purchased vehicle(ie: Elegy). Make sure it is a car that you can sell.

1) At the point where you get out of the car with your interaction menu open, get in your friends Special Vehicle, drive far away(I mean far, at least 2 large city blocks), and go to request special vehicle.

2) Tell your friend to get out of your vehicle. Click to request the SAME model of vehicle you are in(your friends vehicle).

3) Drive back to your MOC. Close interaction menu. You should get sucked into the MOC and see a message at the top right saying "this vehicle cannot be blah blah blah." That's good.

4) You spawn in MOC with the vehicle invisible, walk out.

5) Open interaction menu, request the same special vehicle, you should get the donor car delivered. Drive it into MOC. Walk out.

6) That's it. Call for the SV via the special vehicle tab in the interaction menu to make sure it swapped over properly. Sorry for all the extra B.S. on the last one

9) If you fail to join on your friend after several invites, bring up the dashboard and let the app time out, you will get idle kicked and spawn back into another session. Check the MOC for a personal vehicle, it should be empty. Call for your new modded special vehicle(through the special vehicle menu) and ball the **** out.

**optional but recommended** Steal a car from the street, put it in the MOC and drive out and destroy it.

Edit 2: Brief tut for people on a 1 car/30 sell limit that want to get more than 1 special vehicle.

1) Do the GC2F glitch, complete as normal to get SV in MOC. Bring a car from a FULL garage to MOC and swap them. This will put the SV in the garage the car came from. Remember that garage.

2) Join new session, rejoin friend. Do the glitch as above to get rid of your purchased SV and when you get to the point where normally you would sell the car, instead take it to the garage I told you to remember(it all coming together yet?).

3) Swap for the SV, the SV will be sent to its proper home, and now this next step is optional but I highly recommend it.

**Optional** - Steal a street car and replace the donor car, drive it out and destroy it. After swapping SVs with normal cars and having SVs in my MOC, I noticed some issues with cars ordered to those spots. Sometimes they cannot be driven, other times they can be driven out of a garage, but not back in or into LSC. Happened with a freshly ordered Elegy. Overwrote it with a stolen ca and destroyed, ordered new Elegy and no problems whatsoever.

For your problem, can you not move the car if there is one in storage in the moc then order a new elegery into it from San Andrea and see if you can drive it out and back in? Or destroying the moc

I misunderstood my friend, I'm trying to multitask and failing hard lol.He had a vehicle that was losing mods(probably from a bike on the floor moved to a car spot) and put it in his MOC, overwrote it with a street car and destroyed it. Now can't put another vehicle in it. This glitch did not cause the problem.

This works on ps4 and i also found a similar but different way!

1. Do GC2F.
2. Once getting out the car with interaction menu open get in your friends special vehicle and drive away.
4. Tell your friend to get out your car.
5. Order the same special vehicle your driving.
6.Drive back to MoC and close IM and you should get sucked in.
7. Step out and check to see if you have to buy the same special vehicle that you once had. Now order your personal vehicle through your vehicle tab.
8. Join a friends session
9. Register as a Mc pres and return your elegy to storage.
10. Request the special vehicle you wanted/duped and thats it. Its Yours!

One more observation.. if you don't already own one of whichever SV you're trying to get.. buy one first, then dupe the modded one over it- this glitch makes it way easier to move it to the UG. No switching sessions over and over and all that BS.

I've received SV's without owning them mate, same process as a modded account just transferred if you look at it.

Just don't have more than 2 in a garage

Was able to fix buddies dead spot by stealing BMX bikes and putting them in a couple garages on bike racks and destroying them, his dead spot was likely from swapping a bike on the floor with a car on the rack or riding a bike that was on the floor into another garage and putting on the rack. As far as I can tell not caused by this glitch. I'm done for the night but I will test tomorrow when I get home and see if I can purposely get a glitches spot(could be useful down the road) and if I can, try to find a fix for it. Until then, I'd use the short method, no moving cars around and only trades places with the PV storage spot in the MOC making any potential bad spot easy to track.

Sorry, I'll re-write that. I was in a bit of a hurry, does seem a bit confusing.

2)Tell your friend to exit the donor car(the car you both were in). Click request special vehicle(the one that you are trying to dupe). Should say "Delivery In Progress" (or something along those lines) at the bottom of the interaction menu.

So what explains my custom technical and insurgent pick-up custom with YANKTONS on them? How did you insert the code on last gen for them? Just curious as i didn't think yanktons where possible on new dlc vehicles.

Only possible b4 transfers ended, we would fill a garage with a random car, paint it, put the plate on it, with the mod menu there is an option to replace with a custom code, we had all the codes for all the new dlc vehicles as trey came out, clothes too, we put the code in, car turns invisible, after u transfer the dlc car shows up on next gen with the color, plate etc as the random car u replaced on last gen

I just mean it's quicker to do it this way. I've duped them with and without owning plain ones, and this is just easier. If I don't already own one, I have to swap sessions several times, or go to SP to make it show.. then it's still inconsistent.

If you mean my friends bugged spot, he was setting up to do another SV. He put a vehicle that was losing mods into the MOC, and overwrote it with a stolen car and destroyed it. Normally if it was bugged from a SV(from my few tries yesterday), you can still drive another car in to fill the spot, but he could not, which pointed to a bike rack spot being linked to the spot that was swapped to the MOC. Destroying a stolen bike on the rack in another garage fixed it and let him order an Elegy, confirming the dead spot was from a linked bike spot and not from having a SV in there. I'm still not hotpatched so I will still experiment with it tonight to learn more for next time.


Either way, the GC2F is being reported as patched(and others are reporting losing vehicles, actually giving their cars to friends lmao), so with it goes this glitch. Fingers crossed for a new GC2F! (but not too soon, I need to catch up with life lol).
