Discussion Gears of war 2 lag switch

Does anyone know how to use a lag switch? When are you supposed to hit the switch and for how long? I tried to set one up and did what was posted here by another person, got that all done but its not workin for me. Do you have to have a router? I have a modem/router combo. My connection goes from that to the xbox, I dont know if this is a problem. Any help would be great. Thanks!:.(

You should've posted this in the Gears 2 section. If you want to get host using the lagswitch (which you need to, to be able to lag it) you press it for 10-12 seconds after you start matchmaking. But, there is a much easier way to do this now, just go to this section: GoW2 Bridging

You'll find a ton of better ways to do it there.
