The title pretty much says it all.

Requirements:
16GB of RAM
Dual Monitor support
A slot for a DVD drive
Very plain windowless Black case, If there are LEDs, only Blue or Red.

The color scheme does not matter other than the case itself.

I already have the peripherals.

As stated the budget can NOT go over $2,000.

If you have any questions please ask.

You really shouldn't need 16gb of ram, unless you're genuinely terrible at disabling programs in the startup menu. 8gb should suffice.

I do have a question actually, are you asking people to find you a pc or....?

Afraid not my good chum. In that case, I respectfully recommend the i7-4970K CPU and GeForce GTX970M (possibly dual with SLI configuration)

5820k is pointless, it's only going to be a hinderance in a gaming rig. i5-6600k out-performs the 5820k in games. RM650 is a terrible PSU. $110 for a 2TB HDD is stupid. Corsair 750D is an overly expensive case. 4790k is kinda pointless to, 6700k is like $50 more. Not sure why everyones suggesting windowed cases when you specifically asked for windowless. Fury X is not better than 980Ti, 980Ti>Fury X and is better for multi-GPU setups since it doesn't have a pain in the *** AIO.

However it will not beat GTA V. GTA V is a CPU intensive game. In GTA V more cores = better performance.

No. The 6600k with a 980Ti will hands down give better performance in GTA V than a 5820k and Fury X.

Okay sure...I've seen countless videos where it has beaten it. Let me try and look for them.

Not all games. Games like Crysis 3 scale amazingly with more threads/cores.

But generally the 6600k is better yes and cheaper.

Better Ram, better GPU, better & cheaper PSU (its a combo deal with the Seagate Drive).

I got a really nice Black/red color scheme for internals with a cheap decent white/black case.

Worse CPU cooler but its much cheaper and very high quality.

The Fury is a better option than the Fury and how is the 980ti better in multi-gpu setups? The Fury non X in CF destroys the Titan X in SLI.

Nvidia has pathetic GPU scaling and I am sick of your blatent lies about Nvidia cards.

Also dual cards having Water-cooled is an advantage as long as your case can fit the Rads. Dual cards produce a shitload of heat especially when your on high end cards like the 980ti (which produces even more heat than the Fury).

We all saw when the Fury X launched the 980ti won by 1.4% @ 1440p (Toms Hardware), and lost by 4% (Toms Hardware) but then we found out a week later Nvidia cards are locked on driver level to run games in lower quality

http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/nvidia-once-again-cheating-benchmarks.1353515/

Since then AMD has provided the 15.7 drivers which gave us a huge Driver overhaul increasing drawcalls on DX11 by about 50% and giving a 5-15% performance in games.

Also if the guy is spending 2k on a PC I assume he wants it to run good right?

Considering AMD has better driver support for old cards (Look at the 780 it gets beat by the 2011 card AMD 7970 in recent games despite being a much faster card). And AMD's support for DX12 is years above Nvidia (GCN 1.0 cards are above Maxwell, while Skylake is above GCN 1.2)

Rs6QPn8.png

A really nice 1440p Freesync 144hz monitor is an option that only comes with the Fury as well try to find a 1440p gsync 144hz monitor for under $750.

AMD & Nvidia both have Adaptive sync monitors I highly recommend them if your spending 2k on your rig to get a high end monitor. Nvidia uses Freesync on their laptops but on desktops they use a proprietary version called Gsync which is the same thing but with DRM & more input delay (Of course each panel will also vary on input delay but technology in general)

Freesync also supports a wider range of refresh rates (9-244 I believe, but no freesync monitors are close to 244hz yet so don't hold your breath)
And Gsync supports a mere 30-144 (They should in theory be able to increase this in the future as the tech is not actually limiting)

Lmao. You're the one blatantly lying about AMD GPU's. SLI 980Ti's have like 80% sclaing on average, and the Fury X's is slightly better. 2x Fury's in XFire will not beat 2x 980Ti's in SLI. I never once said the 980Ti scaled better, I said it's better for multi-GPU set-ups because it doesn't have an AIO. More than one GPU with an AIO can easily become a hassle. GCN1.0 cards do not have better DX12 support than the 900 series lmfao. The 7970 does not out-perform the GTX 780. The Capstone 750W is not better than the EVGA 850W G2. The RAM is not "better", at all. The PSU is pointless anyway, 750W is too tight for XFire support, he'd be better grabbing a 550W unit and saving some $$. Poor quality, cheap, ugly case.
Damn, you know your stuff about AMD cards. Makes me want to get a Fury X, but I won't be gaming at 4K so....
He doesn't at all, he's incredibly bias and is constantly lying about AMD vs NVidia performance, acting like the 970 is an entry level card and the 390 is high end, when they offer very similar performance for a very similar cost. The GTX 980Ti out-performs the Fury X, especially in GTA V.

Where's the Fury X OC score ? And the whole list is janky, how can an OC'd Strix 980ti lose to NVIDIA's reference model? When I have more money I'm going to be conducting these tests. Low end vs High End, AMD vs NVIDIA.

It still gives you a rough estimate. I linked the entire article so you can see the benchmarks for other games, as well as some info.

Shut up, butthurt. You're the one blatantly lying about AMD GPU's. 980ti have about 70% scaling average while Fury X has about 90%+ at 4k (Some games are weird and have above 100%)

If you don't want AIO get the Fury. The Fury non X is on par with 980ti on DX11 after you fix Nvidia's cheating driver & in dual card configs scores way above.

Look at the GPU chart GCN 1.0 cards are far beyond Maxwell in every area other than memory they are unbound.

The Capstone 750w is way better look at reviews its a great Superflower and gets great results it could have qualified for platinum certification easily Its also half the price (with the combo discount)

750w is enough the Fury X takes about 220w gaming also having a 600w+ for a single card is nice if you don't want the PSU to get loud or hot.

The ram is not better? Its 2400/14 while yours is 2133/14

12% better speeds & 12% lower response time on yours
6.5 ms response time on yours, 5.8 ms on mine

If you remember the memory formula for response speed on ram its Latency / Frequency = Speed in nano seconds * 1000 = speed in miliseconds.

Now if you had 2133/14 and I had 2400/15 the response speed is much closer 0.00625 vs 6.5 on yours its hardly better but mines 12% faster with the same timings.

Generally higher frequencies come with higher latency which makes it very miniscule (example 1600/9 vs 1866/11 the 1600/9 is better for tasks you need better response time with but worse on things like integrated GPU, so 1600/9 > 1866/11)

Lets compare the PSU's while both are high end the Capstone is pretty much comparable to platinum seasonics while the G2 is middle of the pack for the Gold's.

The 750w Capstone

The 3.3V rail is at 1.8%, the 5V rail is at 1.4%, and the 12V rail is at 1% exactly. That gives us an average of 1.4%
1.4% ripple on hot tests

http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story3&reid=266

The Supernova G2 gets
3.3v = 2.1
5v = 2.0
12v = 2.2
2.1$ Ripple on hot tests

http://www.anandtech.com/show/8051/evga-supernova-850-g2-power-supply-review/4

The highest ripple on the Capstone is 1.8 while the lowest on the G2 is 2.0 the average 1.4 vs average 2.0 is a whopping 43% more ripple.

Now if the G2 were cheaper this would make sense but seeing how its double the price I rate it as ****.

Margin of error & settings in games.

Sactorum is an idiot he tried to argue my 2400mhz 14 cas ram was not better than his 2133 cas 14 ram. & thinks his overpriced PSU is better than the Capstone.

Its also in the GTA V (A gameworks game) and has no extra settings turned up and AA on lower/off. If things say max settings it pisses me off when it has no AA and extra settings are off. Just normal settings are to max. If your comparing the 980ti & Fury and both cards get over 100fps why is it not running max MSAA? Oh because all settings affecting bandwidth will go in favor of the Fury.

Also he never addressed Nvidia having lower draw distance regardless of ingame settings.

The 980ti is worse than the Fury X, and has far lower DX12 support, worse future proofing, and worse future driver support (see all old Nvidia series the cards age like milk).
