Ok so I graduated high school a year early, as a junior, and the oh so wonderful state of Ohio(sarcasm) is paying for 1 year of my college, tuition, books, etc. Anyways I dont own a desktop, just a netbook, and as much as I've been annoying Homer about getting one and never have, I really am this time lol at the expense of my dad. I only own a netbook, so he said my limit is 2500$ I can find the parts myself or let his computer people for his business do it but i HAVE to get it through them, but just like normal i look my parts up on newegg. Here's what I came up with.

Video Card(2x): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150359

Sound Card: Newegg.com - Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional 70SB088600002 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Express Interface Sound Card - Sound Cards

Speakers(I already own them): Logitech Z-5500

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139007

Keyboard: Newegg.com - RAZER Lycosa Black 104 Normal Keys USB Wired Standard Gaming Keyboard - Keyboards

Mouse: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153050

Memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231223

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130226

CPU: Newegg.com - Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops

Gaming Headset: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153043

CPU Cooler: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103055

Screw ATI, I hate ATI always have and always will

Also, the contrast ratio on that monitor is absolutely awful. I'm going for quality not size. Although I want a 24" so yeah lol

No I've always had ****ty performance with them and terrible service. I had an nvidia that was 2 months out of the warranty and they replaced it, and service is everything to me lol

Can someone give me some comparisons? I googled it and cant find much on it. Maybe you can persuade me otherwise on my decision.

Ok this video is pretty persuasive but can someone maybe give me some more info?

Well that is not the 4890, that is the 4870x2, and you can expect the 4890 to perform almost as fast (or fast/faster if you OC it) while costing muuuuch less.

Yeah sure, if you have 3 PCI-E slots maybe get a 8800GT or something for PhysX support since you have the cash.

Maybe get a small SSD to put the OS on and to boot from for speed.

Well 4890's are only like ~$200 so you'd have a bit more spending room.

Thats what I was planning on doing. I adjusted a few things so I'll edit that post and repost what I have now

Ok it's edited. Can you give me some help to know if that V8 cooler will fit inside that case?

It looks like it may fit as some of the reviews say it's huge inside.

Although that definitely is not a definitive conclusion.

Maybe I'll go with TigerDirect since I can have him do 12 months no interest so he doesn't have to pay it all down at one time.

W/e, prices will probably vary a little, but should be about the same.
