Hey all

Today I release my edited build of Forza Studio, it's a moment I'm working on, I could not release earlier because some options take a big time, so I release a little version today.

I would add other options later

What's the point :

• Forza Studio is a tool coded by Make Davis for view 3D forza and textures

Feature :

<Original Tool>

• Export and view 3D files forza (.carbin/.rmb/.bin) (Export .obj)
• Export and view XDS forza textures (Export .bmp/.png/.jpg)
• Unpack forza archive (bms script for .zip)

<My Options Added>


• Auto update
• New design
• New logo
• New 3D color
• Forza Horizon 1/2 3D Support (Thx Mike)

• Forza 2 3D Support (Thx Chipicao)
• Hex view in Forza Studio (Beta and only view)
• XPR Encoder Added (Bundler Gui)
• XPR Decoder Added (Unbundler GUI)

• XPR Anti Decoder Options (For a XPR file like a security)
• Green screen for view textures without alpha

Future features :

• New design (again)
• Custom keyboard panel
• Custom 3D color panel
• Pack archive (ISO support)

• XML view (in ZIP archive)
• Forza 4 save editor
• Forza 4 console modding
• Export textures to TGA in Forza Studio

(new) Parts DB in Forza Studio

• CARBIN Converter for Forza 4 (OBJ to CARBIN) (The dream)
• A real time 3D editor (For big config)
• Highlight name parts/begin hex part/ect... in a Hex view
• Offset view (for a part or a element selected)
• Auto name changer (for name part easily)

Future features :

(new) Parts DB in Forza Studio

So I finally have the time to explain what it is

just one day , when I mod a car , I had an idea , instead of search car parts like wings exhaust.... in the file , extract it ..... ect... if I create a "DB" of all interesting parts of car in forza studio , it is sufficient to click on the name of the part of you like and she appear in the 3d view of forza studio , and obviously it suffices to click on 3D for copy the part in keyboard (in hex....)

basically , instead of search parts ect... you can just select the part of you want replace (in hex tool) and copy the hex of the selected of you like in forza studio :cool:

At this time is just a idea but I could implement it in the coming weeks

please tell me if you been interest , this could motivate me to start the "idea" or rather to abandon

If you have a good idea and it's conceivable, you should go ahead and do it. :wink: Sounds like a really good feature that would save time. From what I can understand what you mean, forza studio > model > click part > get hex code of said part > quick way of replacing in hex edit?

yes but at this time is just a "select part and get hex" because auto replace of a part of your choise with the selected part seems me hard but maybe a day lol

I don't know that this could happen, but it would be AWESOME to be able to convert FM4 cars to FH1/2 and the FH1/2 to FM4.

I do not think being able to create it, but with this FM4 > OBJ > FH or FH > OBJ > FM4 if I make a re import tool :wink:

So wait, I assume this is all still mostly for altered Xbox's Only? I mean I know I have used Forza Studio for other off Xbox purposes but........?

Correct, because this involves files that are on the disc itself.

Hey all

Today I will talk about the future of my edit of Forza Studio which promises to complicate

now I have not much time to work on forza and an event does not fix the thing

2 days ago my hard disk dead (this is also why I do not have can be answered) I lost some of my projects but not Forza Studio :thumbsup:

Nevertheless, I lost part of my research and many other personal files as you can imagine

At this time I have boot my computer on Kali linux so the dev on forza studio are complicate

I do not think I can rework before one month (personal reason)

if people need help I could help as usual but not more

hey people I'm new here in the forum and I apologize for my bad english ... I'm from Switzerland and therefore use just once google translate it ... So I mod forza long time and I now have a problem. I work all cars from forza so that at installation of suspension Lv.3 the cars are pretty deep and perfect offset / camber have. not only while driving (as in project underground) but also in the garage. I've been working 2 weeks on it and it goes twice as long in any case. Until now I have no problems with it had it all works without freezing. is also clear is only the editing of the gamedb file. Now to my problem:

Since I want to edit all cars I decided between times to edit the dlc cars and have already made the porsche pack .. I have the dlc extracted with le fluffie and the archive (34_pri_65.zip) unpacked with forza studio. Then I edited the file slt (34000_merge). Just like the gamedb file. Then again all the unpacked files (from 34_pri_65.zip) sent with the edited slt file to "zip-compressed folder" and replace the archive into 34_pri_65.zip in le fluffie. rebuild and pushed back the dlc file with content-manager on the xbox. So everything works the cars are pretty deep and offset is perfect. I have also changed in some cars, the rim size. Everything fits. In test ride also. when I leave the test drive when it loads do not freeze it. the only trouble is since I have changed dlc: if I take other cars like an bmw and porsche rims install and then make a test ride, the game freezes when leaving the test drive when it is loading the menu.

what could that be? where is the mistake?

I am desperate and could cry ...:cry:

I would be very happy and grateful if someone knew where the fault is located and whether it is at all possible.

if all goes well, and I'm done then of course I share my files with you.:wink:

First welcome on se7 ^^

Second if the CON modded file not work is normal because the CON file is just modded , if you want mod car (and other) with CON you can rehash the file for "bypass" the CON check of forza (not sure its a real check of forza but the rehash work)
Le Fluffie is good for CON manager but you could use Velocity for rehash the contener , the last problem is the speed for the game when you use CON rehash , I try to test with a repack archive (forza zip archive norme) but my computer is dead (only linux) so I cannot help you more

But why do you use the modding CON for mod forza , it more easy of create media.zip with the modded file who patch the game.

I was too through checkout. I would probably prefer to look at a few threads first have indeed shortly afterwards found exactly here in the forum which should eliminate my problem. exactly what you've written here with the media.zip file and the xml files.

Have done everything as you've described, and everything worked out great.
