Im getting "Play DVD" Randomly on my xbox 360 slim (0225). I tried fixing the cal data of the firmware by opening my dummy in a hex editor and replacing the line at 1ff80. But I cant seem to find that line!

You should have 2 versions of firmware.
A normal version for your drive and a firmware with a "U" extension.
The meaning of those is to use the other if the first gives you the play dvd error.

But my drive was not mislabeled 9504. It says 0225 on the label and on jf.
