What do you mean by every garage? Just curious. If I sold a faggio in one garage would it work for that garage or just the mc
I would take that with a pinch of salt to be honest. There is no way buying a faggio and selling it will fix any deadspots related to hangars/SWV/cerberus. All he's doing with that is moved deadspots around. Remember the MC clubhouse actually holds car slots, there are no 'motorcycle' slots. So if you don't use the clubhouse, its a nice place to keep your deadslots from garages but fixing the issue it is not.

How did you get the aircraft? Into the MOC? I think what you've done is put aircraft into car slots when receiving them. And then transferred them directly into the hangar?

If that's the case what happened is you pushed a hanger slot into where the aircraft came from (probably the MOC) and the car slot went in the hangar with the aircraft in it. Say you then received 2nd aircraft into the MOC, you actually received it into a hangar slot which you then pushed back to the hanger with no problem. But the 3rd aircraft will be in a car slot again which will end up in the hangar again and leaving another deadspot. This is where the discrepancy between how many modded aircraft you have vs deadspots can come from. If you did them all in a row its likely every other aircraft, did you receive 9 or 10 aircraft?

It's all nitty gritty really the point is to fix you clear both sides of the slots you messed with. All the time there is an aircraft in a car slot in the hangar, the hangar slot cannot return from wherever it is now back to the hanger. You are fortunate you actually have the deadspots to notice, if you had cars in them from say doing a GCTF after a aircraft, the car goes in a hangar slot you left in the MOC then into a garage... Later you buy something over it and forget what... The deadspot would work the other way and you'd find the hanger only accepting 15 aircraft and saying its full and thats a lot harder to sort out because you forget which cars you brought over what and pretty much have to empty all your garages to get the hanger back up capacity! Very annoying job.

Let's see how you get on with the aircraft first before worrying about the cerberus. My gut tells me if you GCTF the cerberus into a car slot it won't cause a deadspot unless you do something silly like move it into the proper slot in the arena. Because if you do that you likely pushed the cerberus spot into a garage and i'm not sure how the game reacts to that. I believe the people that glitched cerberus out into a garage found a car slot went into cerberus slot and it became dead and wouldn't allow a new cerberus to be brought.

Ok, I removed all vehicles from my hanger... Still had 5 dead spots. I purchased 3 cerbrus over top of the ones i already had, Then sold them.. Which actually cleared one of the deadspots. So Im left with 4 now, and have no idea what the next method would be to try and get rid of these.

Wasn't the aircraft then ffs. What other glitches u done? Cars on bike racks? Swv? SOMEWHERE you have 5 car slots that are not empty but aren't in a garage. If not in the hangar they must be on a bike rack, in the SVW, maybe facility special vehicles have you ever messed with them? There really isn't many places left to look

I do not have any cars on bike racks. I made one magic spot and it worked the first time.. I have received special vehicles, and vehicles from the special warehouse as well..

I have received 3 cerbrus thru gctf.. If the removing the planes doesnt fix my issues.. Do I just sell these to get rid of them?
Planes will probably not fix your issue. Trying getting rid of all the cerberus you got from gctf.

dont know if its true. But it was suggested to me that you need to own cerberus before getting one or it causes dead spots.

I had 3 given to me. I did not own any beforehand. I bought new ones over my modded ones last night so I could sell them.. It opened up one dead spot for me.

Receiving a Cerebus in an empty spot can cause a dead spot. I have had it happen myself.
More commonly dead spots are from receiving an SV (GCTF) into an empty SVW spot. If you don’t already own the SV and move it from the MOC to the SVW that is when the dead spot occurs. The empty spot in the SVW is pushed to the MOC and becomes he dead spot.
The same will happen with Facility and Nightclub special vehicles. Once the received vehicle (SV) is it’s proper space the dead spot will be difficult if not impossible to remove.
Currently there is no way to swap a vehicle out of the SVW/Nightclub lvl 1/Facility.

I need some help understanding the dead spot. (Ive never had one)
If you get the dead spot in a regular garage and you go to the blue circle what shows up in the dead spot? Can you move the dead spot with this menu? Or does it just skip over the dead spot? If you can move it around there is a chance the dead spot can become a dupe spot.

It can be moved.... as i had one in one of my garages and then moved it to another garage when cleaning up my cars. Never fixed it. I think it is in my club garages atm. Want to clean it up before i buy the casino garages. Interesting thought on it being a dupe spot. Funny how the magic spot is created from a blank license plate. We did similar glitches in the past to clean up dirty plates if i recall.

I thought you worked with R*? You should be telling us lol. Yes, if you have a deadspot within a garage it shows up, and it's empty. You can swap vehicles around within the garage and move the deadspot. But, it can also move into other garages. You only really know you have a deadspot when you're at capacity and the last few vehicles won't order through. Or the hangar only holds 19 aircraft etc.

Far as i'm concerned it's a case of being methodical when you move stuff around and you won't get any deadspots...Or you will know why if you have one. All slot types would appear to hold any vehicle even if it is not of the type it should be. If it stays full, it is somewhat good, and for whatever reason you can buy over a car in a car slot, with an aircraft while it's in the hangar. If you have a hangar slot in a garage with a car in it, you can buy over it with a car. But if you let that slot go empty... You cannot buy another aircraft/car into it. It's a future deadspot.

Sometimes it is obvious, like you have a RH8 in the hangar. What to do with it? You can't sell it within the hangar. You leave it there? You buy over it with an aircraft? You put pegasus aircraft over it? It's still a CAR slot in the HANGAR. If you ever remove that aircraft you placed over the car and the car which is in the hangar slot you swapped to a garage is still there... Well done you have a hangar capacity of 19. You can only reset that by removing the car in the hangar slot to let it go back. If you know which car it is..... You could sell it, or replace it with street vehicle and blow it up.... But do you remember which car it was?

It's nice and easy with the vehicles you can remove, sell, replace with a street vehicle and then blow up. But some slots are impossible to clear normally. Like SWV, AA trailer, NC goods vehicles. Once brought you cannot rebuy. You cannot clear it by driving anything in then blowing it up. You rely on a glitch to fix a problem that you created by doing a glitch. And you damn better make sure you remember what vehicles you swapped with what or you make the problem worse.

A slot type is totally different to what that slot is currently holding. The game only seems to notice the discrepancy when the slot is 'empty'. While something is in it, it will happily let you buy over. But the problem is when you later remove/sell said vehicles the slot goes empty the game realises why is there a hangar slot in a garage..... You can't buy another car into that. Deadspot. Why is car slot in the hanger? It's empty you can't buy into that...

As for the bike slot 'magic' thing, someone just got lazy coding slots. Bikes dont have plates or upgrades lets just store a vehicle in it and a colour that will do. So that's the slot you need to bring into a garage for a magic slot. It forgets upgrades and has a blank licence plate. That applies to 3 garages. The other 3 garages the coding was done properly and the bikes will carry upgrades which is why there are good/bad magic slots and it's important to 'find' that right bike slot to use...... I'm getting bored now this site is so full of fakes. LOL

Appreciate the post....

I didn't take advantage of the SVW fix to get my SV back into the warehouse.. uugh... hope something comes full circle and at some point i can get them back where they belong.

Um the dead spot is an accident. Remove vehicle from player garage apparently does not reset the purchase.
Creating the dead spot was not intentional on rockstars part. Not fixing it however is 100% intentional.
So by placing a sv in the personal garage can cause the dead spot? Correct? And you are saying the dead spot will move via the vehicle management circle? Correct? And you say it shows as an empty slot right?
And you are certain the empty slot is classed as an aircraft or something different than what actually goes in there? How are you certain? Did you actually poke around in memory to figure this out or is it educated guessing?
If its actually slotted as the wrong type of vehicle for that garage then there is huge potential for massive duplication in a garage.
So what if the sv is in your garage but you havent removed it? Does the slot show empty still? What about aircraft in your personal garage? Empty slot or does the aircraft show up in the menu?

I guess I need to just create one of these spots and find out huh?
I have something that works to produce a dupe in a garage but I think a dead spot may allow for multiple dupes in one shot.

I have my Ruiner in my MOC and my Ramp Buggy in my facility. I used to be able to get the Ramp buggy, but not any more. :frown: My Ruiner I can call my MOC vehicle and it shows up. I have been on and off (more OFF) since we could swap our SVs back into SVW when they patched being able to call any vehicle. I didn't take advantage of the glitch to fix it, ugghhh when it was found. I would def appreciate if you find something from dead spots as i have 1, but don't know what it is tied to: Airplane, SV, ect...

Question for anyone: I cant do the Custom apartment solo dupe due to my Ruiner in my MOC, want to move it but still have access to it so if any glitches comes back to move it to the SVW its available since its a custom one.

1: Give Ruiner 2000 to friend through gc2f
2: Glitch out with bike, to receive it back (you absolutely MUST be able to specifically identify this bike through MC menu)
3: Call out your stock Ruiner 2000 from SVW list
4: Receive your modded Ruiner 2000 from friend
5: MC request the bike you glitched out with
6: Drive it into MOC
7: Done, your stock Ruiner 2000 is now gone, and your modded Ruiner 2000 is in SVW, and the bike you used is in the MOC.

I cant call it as what is in my SVW isn't my Ruiner its my Akula because i never took advantage of the glitch to put it back after R* patched it.

Remove vehicle does reset the slot, provided it's in a slot which that vehicle SHOULD be in (remove is a strange term, as you cannot remove only sell or replace unless a pegasus aircraft in hangar). Nobody got deadspots by selling a vehicle or driving a street vehicle into a garage and blowing it up UNLESS they had swapped the wrong vehicles into garages before. So from R* perspective I can see it being bottom of their to do list.

SV I only have ideas, I am not silly enough to swap vehicles where I knew there was no easy fix to a patch because you cannot rebuy, or drive anything into the SVW or the AA trailer slot to cause a reset but its the same principle just harder if not impossible to fix without a glitch.

What I am certain of from doing a lot of testing is that slots are totally seperate from the vehicles that occupy them. On a clean account if you directly swap an aircraft from the hangar with a car in a garage and do just that one vehicle. Later you empty the hangar including the car you swapped into it, the hangar will hold only 19 aircraft. The aircraft in the garage still occupies a hangar slot. If you flip it and leave the car in the hangar and remove the garaged aircraft you have a deadspot in garages that you won't notice until you are at capacity. For all intents and purposes the hangar still holds 20, because you have a car in it that can be brought over with an aircraft.... BUT the garage deadspot at least in normal garages seems to move by itself into any available slot until you have none left (probably becuase it has other places to go until you are at capacity). Then bingo the last car you try and buy in the last garage with a slot only holds 9 cars, or 8 if its the arena etc. That's because you still have a car in a car slot inside the hangar.

The same goes for bicycle racks. Direct swap one with a car you either get a magic spot or you don't but thats down to faulty coding so only 3 garages bike racks store the correct information... The other 3 do bad magic because they are coded correctly (better?).

The game just won't allow you to buy a car into a hangar slot or an aircraft into a car slot IF the slot is empty. If it has something in it, it will happily let you buy/drive a pegasus aircraft over a car. Or buy a RH8 over a buzzard in a garage. But no matter what you do you are still buying into they slot type of the vehicle you swapped which makes the problem worse. You don't notice until you have a clear out and remove some stuff but from the other side you kept something you swapped and the slot is now dead. The only way to reset it all is to empty both sides, take car out of hangar and aircraft out of garage. Suddenly the 20th aircraft slot returns to the hangar and no longer says full at 19.

For bike racks for some reason you are actively stopped from buying over a car on the rack. A 10 car garage appears to have only 2 bike slots if there is a car in one. But upon riding a street bike in it will allow the replace of the car. Dangerous as the street bike will remain in a car slot until you clear both sides of the swap. That's the position I found myself in because I didn't have a clue which bike was in car slot, you cannot tell insured bikes vs non insured. So blowing them all up becomes the only option. But also the same goes for other slots when you complete lose track of what you have done.

If you have a magic spot, you automatically have a deadspot. It may be on the bikerack where it's not relevant but a MAGIC slot IS a deadspot when nothing is in it. Why do you think all the tutorials on a magic spots say to keep track of it and keep a locatable vehicle in it? Because if you don't it will go empty and will be a deadspot. It's a bikerack slot on the garage floor.......

If you swapped nothing to the bikerack when making it and it becomes empty, you lose the magic spot - bikerack slot returns to the rack. If you swapped a vehicle to the bikerack when making the magic spot and it becomes empty you have a deadslot in the garage until you remove the vehicle in the bikerack slot that you swapped. Its not all that hard

There is a maximum allowed amount of aircraft a player can own. As well as bikes, vehicles....ect ect.
The garage for the motorcycles has a classification set to it. If the vehicle is not classed as a motorcycle it cannot be stored.
But, that being said I would like to explore moving one of these "dead spots" to the mc garage.
To me it sounds rather accurate that the entire slot is being moved. special vehicles do not get destroyed in traditional terms. They are automatically sent back to their storage. Same as moc and avenger.
These vehicles store purchase data to social club and once purchased cannot be purchased again. So it would seem for further testing I will need to create some more accounts and intentionally move my sv's to regular garages.
