Just a few questions on getting a flashed xbox 360,

(1) Whats the best flashing method?

(2) Is it possible to get on xbox live still?

(3) Would I have to download special game formats for different flash's

(1) depends on your drive..BenQ, Hitachi, lite-on, etc.

(2) Yes

(3) I don't think so

While this thread is still up, I have a question as well.

I heard that if you don't update your flashed firmware occasionally, MS can detect your modified console and ban you. Is this true?

I highly doubt it...probably just another Ban-scare tactic.

1.) Downloading games are Illegal, but who cares
2.) You might flash it wrong, but then you either have to fix it yourself (flash it over again) or pay someone to flash it for you
3.) It's very hard to flash drives so I would suggest getting it done by another member here.

Other than that...FREE GAMES = AWESOME

Thanks again. Because I am thinking about flashing my current 360, then buying the MW2 Limited Edition Console and keep that one stock in case I get console banned or screw up badly.

I wouldn't mess with that CODMW2 one either so I don't blame you.

I have an extra 360, but the drive isn't working so I'm probably going to buy a flashed one.

IMO you should have someone else flash it for you, just because you need a good amount of equipment and it's better to have an experienced member do it.
