Solved Falcon JTag - E97 - 1033

I know there are a million threads on this by now, but I just need a sanity check from you guys.

Here are the steps I have taken so far:

1. Installed Nand-X kit
2. Retrieved Nand with 0 unmatching and 1 bad block
3. Installed Xell
4. Didn't work first 2 attempts but then for some reason did
5. Installed freeboot and got error above
6. Unmapped bad block on good nand
7. Created freeboot
8. Remapped bad block on freeboot
9. Installed freeboot and same error
10. Unsoldered jtag points and soldered to alt positions
11. Did 7-9 with alt points and still get the same error
12. Cleaned some joins on the J2D2 QSB
13. Same error

I have tried using the JTag tool v3.5 and doing the steps manually. Both get the same result. My original Nand still will work when I flash it back. I have no clue why Xell worked when it did and why it now always gives me E97 if I install Xell on my clean Nand (even before alt points).


Does this mean that I must have an issue with my JTag joins if I'm getting 1033? If so, does someone have a good tutorial on how to do J2D2 on alt aud clamp and dvd tray without QSB?

I'll attach some pics so you guys can see what I have.

i had this same problem make sure your wiring is GOOD!

I was 90% sure it was wiring but since it all looks good to me I didn't want to go desoldering if its unnecessary. I rarely have good luck with QSBs so I may try running wires to and from J2D2 and the QSB.
