    HDD not being detected

    Hello.

I edited this post (Used to be Error 7, was having trouble)

Now I'm having trouble getting the HD to be detected.

I have plugged the IDE cable into my DVD Drive and scanning for changes but no luck. Any suggestions?

I know this may be EXTREMELY old, but Can someone please help me out? I recently pulled out my old xbox that broke so I can try to fix it. I remember getting errors 16 and 21 back in the day. Now it seems I am getting error 7. What is the way to fix this? Would upgrading to a new HDD and building it for xbox work?
