Description

Pretty self self explanatory none the less.

Read Me from file:

Easy XBR To FreeBOOT By JJMPSP.

Note: this app was designed to work under "run as admin" mode for W7 and vista..
So i reccommend you do so to avoid any problems.

This app was created for updating to FreeBOOT as quickly and as fast as possible.

Directions for use :

First make a backup of your nand in flash 360 onto your memory stick.
Then move the nand backup over to your pc.
Browse for the nand directory and the program will automatically copy it over to the right
directory for you.
Then enter your CPU Key into the program and dump the nesaccary files.

You will then have to get your CB0 Key by opening up your nand in a hex editor.
After you have done this you may now create your nand.

After the nand making process is complete, flash the file "updflash.bin" found in the bin
folder (the folder that the app opens when the nand making is complete)
with flash360 using a flash drive.
If you get an error about a bad kv then your Cpu key is probably incorrect or you are trying to flash with the wrong nand.

You should now have FreeBOOT !

Thanks o0xIBrUnKhOrST
I was having issues with freeboot on the final stage as my systemupdate directory was missing files, I used this and it worked 1st time 100%

Anyone out there that is going to use this then here are my helpful pointers

1.) Update your XELL to XELLOUS here is the step by step guide
http://stainedfuture.wordpress.com/2009/12/31/updating-xell-to-xellous/

This allows you to get down the dumps and even the CPU Key alot easier on the web browser, and the most important part if you screw up your system from making the image file then you can just put your old original dump file on the usb stick and boot up into xellous and it will restore the file for you, very very useful.

2.) When I ran the easy xbr to freeboot everytime I browsed for my flashdmp.bin file I would get an error "This Feature requires {smartassembly} is available on this computer" and then the program crashes
Nothing I did got around this error, but if you copy your flashdmp.bin file to the xbr to freeboot\bin directory then you are good to go without having to click on browse for file.

3.) the steps mentioned above are copied from the readme.txt with easy xbr to freeboot and dont make any sence to what you see in the GUI, so do the following.

a.) Insert your CPU Key
b.)Click Extract kv.bin, smc.bin and smc_config.bin from nand
c.) Copy Extracted kv.bin, smc.bin and smc_config.bin
d.) put in your Console i.e Xenon and version number
e.) Click Copy CB0 Files
f.) Click Create Freeboot NAND ( This creates the file and places it in the "xbr to freeboot\bin" folder as update.bin
g.) Click Rename FreeBOOT Nand and Open Nand Directory ( This renames the update.bin to Updflash.bin and opens the directory )
h.) Copy the Updflash.bin file to your USB Stick along with Flash360 if you are using that method and update. or just copy the Updflash.bin to the USB stick and power on with the CD drive extracted for Xellous to run and it will auto update it for you.

i.) After update is completed shut down the console and take the power out for 30 seconds before powering on.
j.) If you get E71 E74 or red lights then just copy the Flashdmp.bin that you used onto the USB stick and power on with the cd drive ejected and Xellous will put you back to where you where.

For x IEIMIPHASiS v My Console was on CB1903 and it worked 100%

Hope this helps everyone.
