yes you can update from any dash to 13599

I have question. i use the non original nand image and it show a warning "Donor files used : extended.bin, secdata.bin, Warning console may not boot if donor files are used!

so what it mean? can i go with this?

it should work as you still have your original KV. if its a xenon you have nothing to worry about

I think people like to update just to be up to date. Personally, I wait until the update is needed.

I have a coupla n00b questions. I kept getting 'Cygnos Used' when creating updflash and followed someone elses suggestion to uncheck auto SMC, and it did away with the Cygnos used portion and created a new update flash, BUT was unsure if I should use 'Xell Reloaded' or 'Xellous' option in MAIN tab, so I left it default at Xellous (I used Easy FB when I updated to 12611 some time ago) and SMC option as Stock (no Audclamp or others used). Do I have this right? Also, Do I need to also use the Xell Updater v1.2 prior or during creating the updflash or am I misunderstanding something? AND... I already had the Kinect update in the 12611... do I need to update that as well, or am I good to go?
...and finally, in options... the only thing I have checkmarked is 'Check with 360 Flashtool', which btw verifies after creating updflash. Sorry so many ?'s. Just don't wanna flash a bad update.
