Discussion EA Access?

Does anyone have the EA access feature and if so how is it? Do the games stream to you or how does it work? Also would you suggest it. I personally play half of those games. Most sports game I don't play/get cause every year it's released but with this it'll be different. Lastly do you need a strong internet at all times to support it? My internet fluctuates a lot sometimes being very choppy to being flawless.

Early Access - You can only play this a week/two before the game is released.

Beta - EA should have sent your email a code if you were chosen, if not then sorry, you will have to wait for early access.

EA Access links to your GT, and then you download the games from the MS store for free. No streaming the game or anything. I would suggest it, the only game there I play is BF4, but that's cool because it's really cheap per year

Hoooo man! So you're telling me I can download all those games?! I wonder what happens when it runs out. The only game I actively play is BF4 but I bought it when it first came out so I felt no need it rush into the EA access program. With the new madden coming out my friends are finally switching over to X1 and I'm debating for myself and trying to convince them to get it so I can have friends to play BF4 and they'll have friends to play madden. Win win imo.

2) When it runs out you lose the games obviously. It's a subscription service, that's the idea. If not everyone would pay $5 for a month and download everything then say f*** it until they put more up. There's nothing to really wonder
3) The catch is you have to put the blood of your first born into a specified funnel and proclaim your allegiance to Loki of Asgard.

In all seriousness I can't think of any "catch" other than them removing a title (they've gone on record saying they won't be doing so with one example here) or more likely take some time to put something else up (maybe put up sports games around the time the next is ready for release?) but who knows. Maybe the "catch" is just paying for games you don't own but even at rental values it's not bad

If they add NFS: Rivals and PvZ: Garden Warfare, then i'm in for sure. BF4 and the aforementioned are all games that I've been wanting to try, but didn't want to shell out 30 bucks a piece to get.

All trials are different for each game. FIFA is expected to have 5-7 full days.

/wait what?! Can you expand on this? You mean I can get EA access trial for 6 hours? Or After purchasing EA access I can then demo a game for 6 hours and then that is it? Cause if it's the second then there's the catch and that sucks.

No. Lol, that isn't EA access he is talking about trail games. Ea access you have the full game, for however you play for. I swear everyone doesn't know what EA Access is lol.

The hell are you talking about? For the brand new Madden maybe. Not all the games.

I've got EA Access now. Paid $5 to give it a shot for a month. It downloads the games just as if you bought them. Every month EA with auto charge the xbox account. If it sees that you don't have the subscription anymore, you can't play the games. It's actually really good.

I already had BF4, but I never bought Madden or FIFA last year, so $5 to play them was worth it to me. When I get my fill, prob after a couple of weeks, I'll delete them and end my sub until new games are added.

FWIW, the trails previously mentioned are for new games not in the EA Access "Vault." Vault games are unlimited as long as you pay for the sub.

I'm thinking that too. You had to put your credit card info or is there a way to take out the xbox currency?

It uses whatever method you use to pay your XBL Gold, store, etc. Paypal, prepaid cards, whatever has a balance it can pull $5 or $30 from.
