Solved DVD Drive = Messed up

Whenever I put in some games instead of it saying "play Game" it will say "Play DVD"?

Is there a way I can switch the DVD Drives from 1 of my xboxs to another one?

No because they have different dvd keys so it will not work like that.

however it could just be the 2 cable connected to the drive try and swith them

Try looking up pot calibration fix before you attempt to swap out the drive because you will need the dvd key from the original drive put into the new 1, You can either do this on a pc using jungleflasher or other softwaer, or get the same drive and swap the pcb/circuit board out of the old 1 into the new 1.

No because they have different dvd keys so it will not work like that.

If the dvd matches the console, for example when u put the game it and it loads the white screen that says put in a xbox console, it doesnt match. You can open the dvd drive up and pull the pcb board out and put it into a matching dvd. Benq -> Benq, Lite-on -> Lite-on. They have to match to switch. If its a jtag xbox then you have more options. But if you get the white screen and dont have a matching dvd drive then all you have is an expensive dvd player

Oh and does it do it on all games or just certain games?
