Patched Duplication/Give Cars To Friends (Xbox 360 & PS3)

Does not seem to be working for New Gen
Have a friend do these steps:

1.Setup a car blocking off passengers door and set to passengers only.
2.Go to start->online->jobs->any simeon job.
3.Confirm Settings.
4.Make Match Making to Closed
5.Wait on that screen
(If you want to do the glitch again repeat these steps)​

1.Get in your Garage.
2.Get in the Rebel.
3.Hold Start and R2/Right Trigger at the same time so you hear revving when the start menu opens.(To check the game store should be unavailable)
4.Go to friends and click on the name of the friend who is in a mission, Hit X/A
5.Hit Join Game.
6.It's gonna ask are you sure you want to join, Wait 2 seconds and then press X/A.
7.An Error message will show up saying it's private hit X/A again.
8.You will be all glitched out.
9.Teleport to your friends car.
10.Wait a couple of seconds and then you will be in the drivers seat and will be able to drive it into the garage.

BYPASS 45 MIN WAIT by using rebels

Different Method(posted by andxn):
1. have a friend in a mission with match making closed (blow up 2 or meth'd up)
2. get in a rebel in your garage
3. put your online preferences to offline
4. have your friend to invite you
5. press guide button and rt at same time
6. immediantly spam a
7. have your friend kick you from mission
8. you will be glitched out and quickly run to the car
9. if it doesnt work, dashboard or join a new session and to the dupe again.

So if i want to dupe the insurgent i have to block off all its doors right and to do that i can use a friend car set to (no-one) to block the insurgent doors and teleport into it. Will my method work.

Yeah you could try to teleport into it before doing the whole glitch
But I think it will work

When I come back down I glitch for a 1/2 second in my driveway and then it's all over. I'm sitting my Rebel in my driveway.

Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

There is no way to teleport in if you use a truck

you dont have to teleport in. its just faster. you have plenty of time to just run up to the insurgent or whatever you're duping and get in the back door. i do think it still has to be on passengers though. but i can confirm it working without blocking the doors.

Haha yep, I guess this is it then. The GTA glitching community are gonna find ingenious ways to keep the gaming strong, it was only a matter of time. Just hope that this won't be patched for as long as possible

I thought they patched this glitch. Can someone please confirm it this is working or not.

Nope the glitch was out today you're probably thinking of another one, possibly the cargobob method. Only other working methods are the flight school method and the targeting mode one I think, but this is probably the fastest and easiest of all the 3 person methods mentioned.

i can't get it to worlk on ps3. I set it up like freight train said. When i am on my friends name in the start menu it does not have the option of join game. the only options are send game invite, send message, show profile, and invite to crew. there is no join game option.

i have the sultan rs and the romero hearse and they are fully upgraded. they both are rare vehicles. I also have the dubsta 6x6
