Background: I posted in this forum a while ago asking how I can dual monitor when I did not have a graphics card in my computer (Graphics controllers suck by the way). So I took a user's advice and bought an eVGA UV16 for $80.

What Did I Buy:

  • VX2255WMB 22" Monitor - Exact same model as the one I already had - $280
  • eVGA UV16 - A simple DVI/VGA to USB box that allows dual monitor - $80

As I said before... if you want it just ask. You can resize to make it fit your monitor

The only thing I don't like about this is that even though the settings are the exact same, my new monitor (right) is much brighter and clearer than my old monitor (left). The settings (brightness and contrast) are the exact same.. even the model #s are the same. Is it just natural wear and tear and usage?

I wouldn't be surprised if you guys were still in middle school
And thanks for the positive criticism. I have decided that when I get a bigger desk, I am going to buy another one of these monitors and cable

are you actually going to use a triple monitor though? I mean I have one so I can program easier but otherwise its pretty much useless.

Lol No. I have no use for an extra graphics card. I dont play games. I want a third one so I can look at my main monitor straight on instead of tilting my head.
