I hacked my wii over 5 years ago but haven't been using it much until now. I think the USB stick I used for games was formatted to a specific file type, do I need to reformat it to copy games to it via wii backup manager? Is there a way to just copy/paste games to usb? And I wanted to use my ps4 controllers through USB on USB loader GX, to play classic the retro games I have installed by WAD, but also wii games where there aren't motion controls involved?

Also any general advice about things that have changed/improved? Should I install nintendont, or other useful stuff?

You will want to format any usb for your wii to FAT32. On the USB you will need to make a WBFS folder which I would recomend placing your WBFS formatted wii games (as there is a limit of 4gb per file if you leave them as wii iso’s)

If you want to run gamecube games off that same USB/HDD as well you can make a folder called “Games” and thats where your Gamecube iso’s can go.
