Hardware Mods Doing my first SMD LED mod today

I'm soldering to my controller. Do you guys have any tips for me? I've watched almost every video on how to solder them in correctly. This is the soldering iron I have

Use Protection
Only do it if there is neutral consent.

No seriously,
Don't do it in a bathtub
Try not to have a metal arm/hand.

Use tweezers to set the SMD onto the board. make sure you rip the traces off the board when getting the original LEDs off. Use the huge solder ball method to get it off without ripping the solder point.

When your putting in the new LED use tweezers set it onto the board, then solder one side to one points and move it and hold it down on the other. Then just touch the solder to the other point. and blamo. If that's confusing just go with the flow bro.

I am pretty sure he meant to say "make sure you don't". Ripping traces off wont be a good idea. lol Just be careful and don't be in a rush. If you have never done it before its going to be a little challenging in the beginning but you will get it.

Wow! very nice i might do mine while i do my rapidfire mods too then i can kill 2 birds with 1 stone and i dont have to put it back together lol
Edit: Loving the white buttons personally i might do Blue~#1 White~#2 Blue~#3 White~#4 but urs still look very nice xD
