So, I ordered a Xecuter DemoN Slim a while back (a couple months ago) from ModChipCentral.com, and they sent me the Xecuter DemoN Phat 16SB model, while I have a Trinity.

Does the Phat 16SB DemoN work on a Trinity console?

They are supposed to give you a QSB adapter for it.

I'm new to this DemoN stuff, but what is the QSB adapter?
Here is a pic of what they sent:

I have a Trinity Demon if you want to trade lol.
I've been looking for a Phat Demon for quite some time.

But to answer your question, you could do a direct wire install, but it definitely won't look as clean of an install.

I’m fine with this DemoN, but is there a tutorial anywhere on how to do a direct wire install?

Sorry if I'm being a pain in the butt, but is there a video guide anywhere?
There isn't, as far as I know.

Not many people do a direct wire install with the opposing Demon motherboard.
That's pretty much as good as you're going to find.

Dangit, cause the pictures that you linked don't make any sense either...

All you're doing is linking up the Phat Demon points with the Trinity Motherboard points.

It's a little confusing, but the picture I linked has the lines connected to the corresponding points.

It's a LITTLE confusing? This isn't even a tutorial.

Welp it turns out I'm really sh*t at Photoshop, and I couldn't find the pictures needed to do what I wanted lol.

So I'll do my best to explain this picture to you:

Looking at your Phat Demon, all the way on the Bottom you have 8 points:
D0, D1, D2 all the way to D7.

So from the Demon to the Trinity Motherboard:
  • D7 -- FT1T8
  • D6 -- FT1T7
  • D5 -- FT1T6
  • D4 -- FT1T5
  • D3 -- FT1T4
  • D2 -- FT1T3
  • D1 -- FT1T2
  • D0 -- FT1T1
Make sure you solder from the pads:

Next - Looking at the pads above it:

You have WP, WE, ALE, CLE, CE, and RE.
Those get soldered to these:

You can also see 5v and Ground in that picture above:

Lastly, in that group of pads you have RB.

Get gets soldered to the left of the FT1TX points over here:

The final 3 points are here:

Those get soldered over here:

Ignore the 6, that's for the Trinity Demon.
If you need to see the relation to that on the motherboard, you can see the full image here:
https://team-xecuter.com/demon/slim_install_diagram_final.jpg

If you have any questions, reply back to me.

That's just about as clear as I could possibly make it.

Thank you, but I have one question. Where do I put the DemoN itself?

It doesn't really matter as far as I know.
I think the person who made that original post on TX's forum put it on the top of the motherboard and had the wires wrapping around to the bottom.

Hey Noobert, I actually have one more question. What about all the other pins? Do I not use them?
