Does anyone know how to prevent searches from saving in the address bar?

It's annoying when I type for example "facebook auto poke" and then next time I type "facebook" (or "face", auto correct ) that is the first option, the search. It saves them. Does anyone know how to prevent this? It's extremely annoying.. It's almost like I have to use incognito for all my searches. -_-

I think if you delete all the history then run CCleaner it will work.

Turning off Predictions/Auto Fill in the address bar.

1. Clear browsing history (optional - only do this if you don't want to see matches from your browsing history).

2. Wrench icon --> Options --> Under the hood --> Privacy --> uncheck "Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar"
