I think you just explain to them what's going on and they can change it.

Is that the only way? Okay. I will talk to my dad about contacting them for me in the next couple of hours to see if i can get a fix. Thank you!

IP addresses are dynamic but sticky with Virgin Fibre / Cable (I should know, I'm with them). Most of the time always get the same IP address when you reset the Router. (I had the same IP address for over 2 years). Contacting them they really won't do much, pretty much useless, imho.

Though...

There is a way to get a new IP address but you need your own Router. I prefer the `Asus RT-N56U` had it for a few years now all is still going well, but personal preference. You would need to put the Virgin Super Hub into Modem Mode and then connect your own Router to the Super hub via Ethernet. Then if you think your getting DDoS'd you just change your WAN side MAC address on your router and then you'll more than likely get a new IP address.

Hope this helps for you and others on here that are with Virgin Media.
