Discussion demo kit info

ok so im thinking of getting a demo kit next month, but i need to know where to get them, the average price, and if you can use them online, like be able to update it to nxe, or if that would screw it up... overall can it replace my retail 360?:S

you cant play retail discs or go on xbl so no...

Also, i wouldnt recommend you buy one, you would just be wasting your money if you're only going to use it for modding.
