I cut out the window now I am just working on the sanding, is there ANY other way to make this process faster? It's like 1/4 inch of plastic I have to sand out by hand, I don't have a dremel but I have a drill so maybe theres a way to make a sanding attachment?

Sanding plastic isn't even hard, try sanding down any piece of wood by hand.

I have done that before, that's harder but this is just annoying because it just looks like it's not going anywhere.

Just use something like 80 grit until you're almost done, then slowly work up to a higher grit and it'll be beautiful.
