Solved Crazy mind bending question please help!

Alright after my of my console got E74 i coudnt send it into microsoft because it was out of warranty. So i went to the store and bought a new 360. When I got home I swapped the motherboards and sent the broken one into microsoft. (To make it look like the new one got E74) Upon returning i noticed it was a completely new console. I also noticed that they transfered all of my licenced content over to this console. So now I have 2 consoles with the same licencing information on them. On the console I recieved from microsoft I modded the dvd drive. My question is, if I get banned on the modded console will it also ban my unmodded console?:cursing:

I highly doubt it because they ban the console , not the profile and each console has a unique console ID.

Also , if your 360 was out of warranty you could have just forced rrod and they would have to fix it.

Hmmm. So they ban by console ID and not serial number? Also another question, do these consoles technically have the same licenses on them now?

I don't know for sure because its never happened to me , but an easy way to test it would be to disconnect both consoles from live and try to play a downloaded video on one of the 360's and then try the same video (from the same HDD) on the other 360. If they have the same license they will both play the video, if not the one that doesn't have the license will tell you that you need to sign into live with the GT that purchased it to verify the liscens.

1)They will only ban the console that is modded if they catch it
2)Your licenses can only be on 1 xbox, so if the one you received from microsoft was the last console to get the licenses to it, thats the one with the licenses, you can't have it on both consoles.
