I know its stupid but is it possible to make your own xbox from scratch? Using there software or whatever on it. Not even going to attempt it just wondering, how much would it cost if its possible do you think?
Lol yeah probably but it would still be pretty cool to say you did itIt would probably cost more to make an Xbox from scratch then to buy one from the store.
If you studied thebenite board, listed every component on it, and had access to machinery that can produce PBBs and the BGA chipsLol yeah probably but it would still be pretty cool to say you did it
To add to this, a factory capable of producing silicon chips (GPU, CPU) costs roughly 2 Billion dollars to build. If you studied thebenite board, listed every component on it, and had access to machinery that can produce PBBs and the BGA chips
Lol also building the DVD drive from scratch! To add to this, a factory capable of producing silicon chips (GPU, CPU) costs roughly 2 Billion dollars to build.
That was actually made by Ben Heck (don't know if they say that on the Engadget site.If you are wanting something custom though this would probably be the way to go. Engadget built a Xbox 360 laptop! And listed all the parts, etc. It is monstrous and in no way a practical portable device IMO, LOL...but, still something custom that maybe only a few people in the world would have.
