Unsolved Could I need new HDD

Trying to fix a problem with my little bros ps3. The problem is when its turned on it needs to restore data so I do that then it gets so far and the screen goes black. I have tryed to do this through safe mode but it gets stuck on the preparing please wait screen. Any help is appreciated

Just fixed it but had to delete everything
