Discussion confused about my boostin account

All right so yesterday I finaly put another 1 month on my old booster with -500+ xp and I just quit out of like.. maybe 20 games only and today the account is banned from mm for a week + console. Did Bungie change something so they can ban you or something? Also is the account still safe to use since its -500 and just not quit out before winning? and is there any other way i can keep making it a better booster without getting banned again
