Solved computer lag and xbox 360

i just got a new laptop computer and it has windows vista on it. well when ever i download something on my computer it makes xbox live lag terribly... is there anyway to get this to stop?

Use two seperate internet connections. Downloading takes up bandwidth, so on the same internet connection, a computer downloading will seriously affect your LIVE connection. Maybe give this a try though http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/xbox-360-tutorials/121858-get-perfect-connection-xbl.html

Try not downloading when your on live... You get a set amount in bandwidth from your ISP. mine is about 350kb/s max. so if im downloading something at 300kb/s that only leaves 50 for my XBL connection, thus making it lag.
