My computer is a sony vaio vpccw21fx
Running Windows 7
Intel Core i3
*any other information needed just ask*

My computer always randomly freezes, and its almost always when I'm watching a video or listening to music. When it happens, the video freezes and the audio plays out very slowly. If it only happened a few times I wouldn't mind. But this has been going on for a while and it happens rather often. So anyone who knows how to fix it would be much appreciated!

These are just a few basic solutions:
  • Run a chkdsk to check your drive for errors.
  • Run disc cleanup.
  • Defrag your hard drive.
  • Run memtest.
  • Download Malwarebytes and do a full scan with that.
  • Could also be overheating, download Realtemp and monitor your GPU and CPU temps.

Sounds like your PC might be overheating.
