So I was tinkering with my comp. Taking out a hard drive, having to disconnect some things such as RAM, and power supply. After, I hook everything back up, connect my "newer" drive up. But when I start the computer, everything lights up as normal, but nothing appears on my monitor. Plus both my fans are spinning backwards now? WTF? lmao?

So, I dont think it's my connection. I think I may have damaged my motherboard upon evacuating my drive. What do you guys think?

Make sure all the cables are plugged in tight, look at your IDE and HD power cables. If that doesn't work, it may be the hard drive...see if you can boot from a cd-rom? If not, put the old HD back in and see if it works, try the new one in another computer maybe? See if the motherboard has anything that shouldn't be there (dust, sticky substance...idk). If none of that works, you may need a new motherboard...
