If the backup method doesn't work, you should still be able to use MinecraftSP to play it at school.
Requirements
-MinecraftSP Download - Virus Scan
-A Flash Drive
Step One
Download MinecraftSp, then place it into in the root of the flash drive. (root means the base directory)
Step Two
Open MinecraftSP and click Backup Manager.
Step Three
In the box that pops up, click the second tab, then check the "Entire Folder (Inc. Saves or any other file)
Step Four
Click "Backup Games (binaries)" button. Then save the file to your flash drive.
Step Five
Once you get to school, open MinecraftSP and go to the Backup Manager again, then click the second tab.
Step Six
On that page, click "Restore Game"
DONE! Enjoy Minecraft!
