Im heading off to college next fall and instead of buying a laptop like 95% of the other kids, i want to build a beastly desktop. I would like a fast machine thats in the budget of 800-900$. I need the works, graphics card, mobo, ram, monitor, keyboard mouse, etc.. So if you guys could make some suggestions on processors and such, thatd be great! Thanks!

With the extra $100-$200 you could buy a netbook for taking notes in class.

    That's what Mag1c did.

^ Yeah, do that, except you'll want to spend a little more than $200 to get a decent netbook.

yeah i spent 299 got a 10.1 inch netbook. it is so handy its ridiculous, and weighs nothing. i do recommend a case though so if you carry it in your backpack so it wont get scratched
